Dr Kai Zhou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Washington University in St. Louis after receiving a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2018. Before that, he obtained a B.S. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2013. His research interests center around data security in a broad spectrum of application domains, in particular social network analysismachine learning, and mobile cloud computing. Specific topics of his current focus include secure and verifiable computation, adversarial robustness of learning systems, adversarial network analysis, and game-theoretical modeling. He publishes in major security and AI venues including AAAI, UAI, ICDM, AAMAS, and TIFS. He servers as a reviewer for prestigious journals such as IEEE Trans. on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing, and IEEE Trans. on Singal Processing. He is a member of AAAI and IEEE.
