COMP students received various awards from external competitions

Three student teams from the Department of Computing (COMP) have recently won awards from the Hong Kong RFID Awards U-21 RFID Awards 2013 Competition. Since 2009, this is the fifth consecutive year that COMP students have won a Gold/Silver award in this RFID competition! The awards give recognition to outstanding achievements of COMP students who have illustrated their innovative ideas and demonstrated excellence in the application of RFID technology.

Another COMP student also won an award in 2013 Crossover Pan-Pearl River Delta Region Universities/Institution IT Project Competition!.

Gold Award (Most Innovative EPC/RFID Application)
Project: RFIShoe

Bronze Award (Most Innovative EPC/RFID Application)
Project: RFID-based Location Tracking System Using a Peer-to-Peer Network Architecture
