The Department of Computing prides itself as being amongst the first in Hong Kong to offer education in computing and information technology. We are proud to deliver an application-oriented education that is innovative and relevant to industrial, commercial, and community needs. Our undergraduate programmes are designed in ways that can incorporate novel applications, meet new challenges, and respond to evolving trends.

The BSc (Hons) Scheme in Computing comprises three awards namely BSc (Hons) in Computing, BSc (Hons) in Information Technology, BSc (Hons) in Enterprise Information Systems with different emphasis on professional IT education.

The Broad Discipline of Computing offers three application-oriented programmes namely Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing, Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Enterprise Information Systems, Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information Technology, specializing in different facets of professional IT education.

As business and career success in this era of information technology requires not only computing or IT skills but also management knowledge to solve problems in an international city like Hong Kong. The unique programme of Double Degree in Computing and Management aims at producing graduates who can meet the current and future computing and management needs in this knowledge-oriented society.

Besides, we also provide a part-time degree programme namely BA (Hons) in Computing for holders of a Higher Diploma or an Associate Degree in Computing or a related discipline to pursue further studies.
