Prof. Qin Lu has been awarded the Medal of Honour (M.H.) by the HKSAR Government in recognition of her valuable contribution to the technological development of electronic communications in Chinese.
 
The 2012 Honours List was published in the Government Gazette on 30 June 2012. This is the 15th full Honours List since the reunification.
