Author Final Paper Preparation and Submission Instructions
Congratulations on having your paper accepted for publication in the proceedings of the
The 3rd International Conference on Ethics and Policy of Biometrics and International Data Sharing (ICEB 2010)
to be held
4-5 January 2010 in Hong Kong
The following information is provided to help you in the preparation and submission of your final paper as it will be published in the proceedings. Please follow all STEPs to insure the submission process is completed successfully.

STEP 1: Paper Specifications

PAPER PAGE LIMIT:
  • EIGHT (8) pages, including all figures, tables, and references.
PURCHASING EXTRA PAGES:
  • Up to TWO (2) extra pages may be purchased at US $150 per extra page.
  • Please pay for extra pages with conference registration.

STEP 2: Important Deadlines
  • PAPER DEADLINE: Final paper is due by December 26, 2009.
  • COPYRIGHT DEADLINE: A signed copyright release form is due by December 26, 2009.
  • ICEB 2010 should be included on all correspondence and the copyright form.

STEP 3: Formatting your Paper

Your final papers MUST be formatted to Lecture Notes in Computer Science: Authors' Instructions for the Preparation of Camera-Ready Contributions to LNCS/LNAI Proceedings (see link to "formatting instructions" below). It is highly recommended that you proofread and check the layout of your paper BEFORE submitting it.

STEP 4: Renaming your PDF or DOC File for Submission

Once your paper has been converted into a LNCS PDF or DOC file, you will need to rename your file for final submission.

Please use your paper ID, followed by your last name. For example, the filename for A. Jain submitting the paper iceb_0001 would be 0001-Jain.pdf or 0001-Jain.doc.

STEP 5: Submitting a Signed Copyright Release Form
  • Please fill-out and sign the following Lecture Notes in Computer Science copyright form. You will need to include:
    1. Conference title
    2. Volume Editors
    3. Paper's full title
    4. Name and address of corresponding author
    5. Signature (on appropriate line)
  • Please FAX your signed LNCS copyright form to ICEB Secretariat at: or SEND your scanned file to iceb@comp.polyu.edu.hk
  • This copyright release form MUST be FILLED-OUT, SIGNED and RETURNED when you are submitting your paper.
Please note: You are stating that the material in your paper is original and you have not previously released copyright for this paper to another party. We cannot publish your paper without this properly filled-out and signed form.

STEP 6: Final Paper (Camera-ready copy) Submission

Send in the final version of your paper ( DOC file or LaTeX source files ) as an email attachment to iceb@comp.polyu.edu.hk with "Final submission-your paper ID" as the subject line.
 
Submission Guidelines:
Papers should be no more than 20 pages (double-spaced and 1-sided using a 10 pt font). Each paper will be refereed by program committee. Papers will be judged on their originality, significance, correctness and clarity. The proceedings will be published by Springer (LNCS). Please use the 'Paper Submission' link on this website for online paper submission.
