Procedure of Selection

1. Each of three PC track chairs (DB/IR/KM) recommended two candidate papers for the Best Paper Award and the Best Student Paper Award, respectively, to the award committee that consists of two Award Committee Chairs and three keynote speakers:
2. The Award Committee members reviewed all the papers and the reviews of the papers and vote for best papers. An ordering was made based on the voting of all the members of the committee.  The committee went through a discussion by email and came to the final result that was recommended to the general chairs.  

3. The general chairs made the final decision.
