Call for Panel
We solicit proposals of panels on topics of interest to the CIKM community. We encourage panels that involve at least two of the three communities (DB/IR/KM) and aim at building a bridge between communities. An outcome of such a panel may be a position paper that will be published in SIGMOD Record.
Panel submissions must include:
1. A thematic title for the panel.
2. The name of the Chair, and Respondent (if any).
3. The names, institutional affiliations, mailing addresses, telephone
numbers, and e-mail addresses of all participants.
4. The program copy (no more than one page) that will appear in the
final program and include a detailed rationale for the panel.
Submissions should be sent by email to the Panel Chair Avigdor Gal (avigal@ie.technion.ac.il) by July 30, 2009.
Notification of acceptance is expected by August 10, 2009.
